Even Paladins who are not dedicated to supporting party members can use this intermittently to ease mana upkeep, but this is especially powerful in the hands of a healing paladin, due to the fact that it also gives the same effect as the Paladin's Prayer aura at no mana cost. Even at level 1, it gives 75% (the same effect as a Mana Recharge shrine), and can greatly extend the amount of time a caster can spend casting spells before needing to stop and use a mana potion. Meditation greatly increases Mana regeneration. It is in these times of silent worship that the Paladin is rejuvenated in spirit. Keep this in mind when reviewing my suggestions. With the observance of this aura, the Paladin supplicates himself to the Light with silent utterances of prayers. The reason I shy away from Holy Freeze is that Bone Necros have fast moving projectiles, so hitting enemies isn't tough, and they usually are packed with FCR and an Enigma, which allows teleporting around enemies to avoid getting hit pretty simple too). These guys are super tank and with a bit of life leech and a good damage weapon (Bonehew w/ shael and a life leech hat is good for starters) they almost never die but also provide you with some defense as well (through Defiance).Īnother good option if you can get a good weapon is a Act 2 Might Merc (Nightmare offensive) These guys die a bit more (than the alternatives) but can output great damage along side your bone spells, although their aura doesn't benefit you much directly. Personally, I prefer a well built Act 2 Defiance Merc (Normal or Hell). Act 2 Mercenaries auras are based on the difficulty and then the label they have (Combat, Defense, Offense), here is the list:Īs you can see, you want to Buy a Defense Merc from Nightmare to get Holy Freeze.Īs for other options, as Artless said, Act 3 Cold Mercs are great with FCR items, since they don't need mana they can spam their Ice moves all day freezing enemies.
